YOGA FOR CHILDREN
Yoga is an ancient discipline that allows us to harmonize our body and mind through meditation, relaxation techniques, breathing management, and maintaining positions with the goal of giving psychophysical well-being. Children more than adults are sensitive to such discipline for their innate openness to any form of knowledge. It is said that children in the womb have already assumed all the yoga positions, they are small sages that need nutrition and above all to preserve such rare qualities.
The yoga course is aimed at children from 3 to 5 and from 6 to 12 years old.
Children will have to dress comfortably (in a suit) with non-slip socks or simply barefoot lessons. It is also possible to use a small towel or sheet to put on the mat provided. The duration of the lesson is 60 minutes with a bi-monthly cadence. Saturday from 16:00 to 17:00.
Children meet in a space created specifically for the harmony and tranquility to develop their own potential and grow happy and healthy. In a lively atmosphere, they learn to manage and control the body through simple yoga positions that will allow them to improve posture and elasticity. Also through the music that will be used as a background during lessons will work on relaxation and energy balance.
Yoga is not a religion but a patrimony of physical exercises (pineapples), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditations and concentration aimed at the well-being and harmony of the child. The vital force of the body (prana) comes from the air we breathe. This vital energy is the “food” of the mind. When sufficient mental energy is forbidden through proper breathing, the mind grows more acute and resistant. Breath, vital energy and mind are connected, the main purpose of all yoga practices is to unite body-breathing. For children yoga will be a new way to play. Well-selected yoga classes combined with motor games make the child’s physical body strong and harmonious while asana increases muscle coordination, maintaining flexibility and good health, calming the mind, helping him overcome anxieties, fear and become more joyous Balanced with others. It strengthens the body but also the mind. Yoga also helps in socializing through the game “together2 to the practice of artistic workshops that include drawing, painting, theater and the realization of small handicrafts.
At the end of the lesson they will be sent back to their parents and will be able to begin their life again.
